Amongst other things, @mohgovgh told @gpaaofficial that it was going to post #PhysicianAssistants by June 22, 2022. A whole year after - June 22, 2023 - still no show. The PA fraternity should be on strike already!

The whole focus of the UHC is to promote Primary health and increase access to healthcare, with special focus on the poor and vulnerable; particularly children and
adolescents, women, and the aged in hard to reach areas. This is exactly what PAs are trained for.

I want to remind the ministry,MoH and the Minister for health #DrKwakuAgyemangManu that his vision vision to achieve universal health coverage by 2030 can only bear fruit if PAs are posted to their stations. More than 50% of health centers in Ghana are without PAs.

@mohgovgh What's the essence of this summit if alot of rural areas lack clinicians like Physician Assistants, whiles lot of graduate licensed Physician Assistants are unemployed yet has to pay high amount to accumulate cpd points to allow them to renew their license yearly. #PostPasNow
