In one of the next iterations of the #PSMGraphbuilder I‘ll switch completely to integer arithmetic in #SWIProlog. Here I miss some type annotation to tell #Prolog „this is and should be a big int for ever“
I mentioned it several times already - but it is still fascinating: added new feature in #PSMGraphBuilder with just a few lines, and it worked at once. And this since months. That’s something I experienced only in #Prolog and #Smalltalk so far. Just great :)
Next week I’m going back to #Prolog. The last features -related to the #VVM project- have to be implemented for the #PSMGraphbuilder. From then only experiments and bugfixes until the final event presentation somewhere mid 2023
Since my networks are growing as the #PSMGraphBuilder is working, the memory becomes a (speed) factor. Therefore, my task for the next months is to optimize memory (beside other things, of course). I have to admit that memory optimization in #SWIProlog is somewhat new to me.
The #midtermevent of @vvm_projekt comes closer. I’ve made the browser UI of the #PSMGraphBuilder more nicely and now I can show resulting graphs in browser, too. 😎 My @LogtalkDotOrg based architecture and @visjs made it easy 😁
The main features in the #PSMGraphBuilder which implements my Phenomenon-Signal-Model (and is written in #Logtalk) are working now. Speed-up is the task to follow. During https://t.co/Y8tcSyCY7C in Logtalk, after that by reimplementing in another lang like #Haskell or #APL.
Now ahead of a refactoring phase of the #PSMGraphbuilder, my #Logtalk application for @vvm_projekt. Goals are to express the data structures more straight, and gain speed in the rule system.
