I just wanted to let you know that yesterday was #PSMatt’s last day. He is off to join response team in Hayes. He has been an excellent Skipper, mentor, role-model and friend to us during this last year. He will be greatly missed and we wish him all the very best. #PCDave #PCChim

#PSMatt Just dealt with a cyclist on Horn Lane who went through red traffic light. This is not only dangerous but inconsiderate, and can lead to a fine/prosecution #CycleSafe

As background. #PSMatt is an advanced driver. So he is a level up from response drivers. You will notice that he doesn't just hair it through traffic,it is careful and considered speed. Next time we do a #BlueLightRun I will ask him to commentate. Which vocalises the decisions.

@chris_underwood #PSMatt I have to jump in on this one, 15 years as an response officer & I can assure you, a suspects on call is one that we make time to go to. It's why most of us joined to stop/catch burglars.
