Is it true that you can make any number from four 4’s? Our G5’s had so much fun exploring “The Four 4’s” from the man who counted! Some fantastic reasoning and risk taking! #pypmath #saisrocks

Are there different ways to decompose numbers? Yes! Some fabulous thinking with our G2 mathematicians. Some constructing with manipulatives, some transferring to symbols. Great discussions! #pypmath #saisrocks

Our G2s are using arrays to hunt for patterns. We made decisions about the number of columns/rows & that helped us to see different patterns. We found even/odd numbers, connections with place value and skip counting as well as 5 is half of 10! #saisrocks #pypmath
