lotta new shit. first of all, #PanelBlast is being renamed to #PanelHack. will disclose why later. added shading to blocks, score, speed levels, leveling up, etc. are all in now. #gamedev #indiedev #GodotEngine

tile dropping is in, more refined match detection is in (still unfinished), and as a result i can now have it stop the board from moving when getting big matches #PanelBlast #gamedev #indiedev #GodotEngine #screenshotsunday

solution to swapping a tile and nothing being buggy? just have the whole screen be tiles ("empty" tiles will be hidden in actual gameplay) now having the tiles drop is gonna be a pain in the ass. #PanelBlast #gamedev #indiedev #GodotEngine #screenshotsaturday

update: you can now advance the game board up 1 row, tiles below the game board are darkened to show they're inactive, and tiles above row 0 (top) will automatically be erased. #PanelBlast #gamedev #indiedev #GodotEngine
