Look, I never said the muse was supportive. She's just a little petty and deeply committed to vibes over structure.

The chaos of the frankendraft proved too intimidating. I made a new Word doc so I can delete all scenes I've already incorporated into the cleaner draft.
Why did I do this to myself? 😰

@AuthorEmy Revising the two prequels to better support the tech and premise of the WIP they lead to.#pantserProblems😂
Every time I return to “Pillars of Despair”, after working on other projects, I think I can’t possibly remember all the complex relationships, names and threads, but, somehow, I do.
I have notes, but most of it is in my head. 😬

My WIP is taking on a life of its own. That character was not supposed to die 🫠... but here we are #PantserProblems #WritingCommunity #AllYouCanWriteAugust
Day one of #AllYouCanWriteAugust and I'm into part 7 of 8! Not exactly sure how I'm getting to my end game but I'll figure it out. #pantserproblems 😂
When a side character in #BirdWIP decides he's going to create a second love triangle I don't want but he's also going to create an additional betrayal subplot for me to track 🙃

this draft is at 80K words, and I'm at the stage where I'm taking bets on how much over 100k it's going to be

Oh no!! And now I just figured out that I need more time between the act 3 breakup and the ending in my Rockstar Romance I know how to fix it but.... I don't wanna *cries* lmao #pantserproblems
But maybe, just maybe, there's a way to fix my plot issue that doesn't require a complete rewrite 🤔 why must first drafts be so hard?!?! #PantserProblems #writerslife
As I'm sitting there, thinking about Space Psychic, I've realised I've written myself into a hole which means I've got to rewrite at least some of a preceding chapter or that particular chapter 😖 #PantserProblems #WritingLife
Man…idk how I’m gonna get all of this stuff to click together… just gotta keep working at it

Just hit 25,000 words in the WIP, a third of the way through. That's good. But it launches me into the murky middle, which is bad. So bad. #amwriting #pantserproblems
Dear #plotters,
How do you plot?
Sincerely,
A pantser that must plot to save her story

Just 600 words today, not great quality words either. I'm sad about it. I really wanted to maintain 2k everyday.

When you introduce a new character in your WIP because it fitted the scene but you haven’t got a clue what he’s actually doing there 🤣

Note to self: next time, write the synopsis first.
#PantserProblems is not a hashtag but should be.

@WknightWriters Yes! I wrote almost 800 words, most of it after I had a breakthrough with the plot. #pantserproblems
I have just written the climax to my WIP. The climax I had no idea of before today. I so deserve this. The problems of being a pantser🤣. So relieved and pleased #amwriting #writingcommunity #pantserproblems
