#IEC #Partylists Mashinini says the legislature with the best display of gender equality is Mpumalanga where 50% of the representatives are women. The WC legislature has the lowest gender equality at 35.71% .

#IEC #Partylists Mashinini gives numbers: 400 names for National Assembly deployees. 430 for provincial legislatures. The oldest NA member is IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi who is 90 years old. The youngest is a 23 year old DA member.

I question the judgement, motives & integrity of any group that considers #PartyLists a legitimate & honest representation of their citizens' wishes. This is not the Union of Socialist Salish Republics. Why I am voting NO to their sketchy #PropRep suggestions. #bcpoli

Having lived for almost two decades in a (failed) country using #PartyLists, I have to agree. This is just applying thuggish unionist mentality on a provincial scale. "We know what's best for you, you need not have opinions, just get in line and pay your dues". #bcpoli
