Poetry flows in our culture, generosity lives in our traditions, and respect for guests is woven into our identity.
But sadly, much of the world only sees #Afghanistan through the narrow lens of conflict. The media often shows the shadows, not the light; the war, but not the wisdom; the struggle, but not the strength; the pain, but not the poetry.
This is not who Afghans truly are.
The reality is that Afghans have always loved peace, but decades of imposed war have left deep scars on a gentle nation. Still, beneath those scars lives a people whose hearts remain full of resilience, compassion, and dignity.
Let us remind the world:
Afghanistan is not just a story of war, Afghanistan is a land of hospitality, poetry, beauty, and humanity.
