@SocialMediaFre3 A7: Stressful. It depends ur race & gender. There is an underlying competitive environment. Frm my experience, on 2 different teams I had white males take credit for the wrk & tools I developed & drove them as their own. I was forced to file 2 internal investigations. #PeerFriday

@SocialMediaFre3 A6: No. They r seen as disposable & wrk insane hours that management normalizes. I noticed burnout was a common theme. Also, if FB cared the internal culture the company would address the internal issues and we would see that success reflected in FB diversity data. #PeerFriday
@SocialMediaFre3 A5: No. Facebook is being used as a propaganda tool to spin a racist conservative narrative, to create violence. Also, FB has bullied, threaten, and stalked employees who have spoken out against FB, many scared for their safety which is the antithesis of free speech. #PeerFriday
@SocialMediaFre3 A4: Money. In my opinion, that’s what drives Facebook’s business decisions and where the company stands politically. #PeerFriday
@SocialMediaFre3 A3: It should show users how much power Facebook Actually has & they hve Trump’s ear. Trump, is protecting Facebook frm antitrust litigation & breaking up the business. Basically, I see it as one corrupt hand washes the other corrupt hand. #PeerFriday

@SocialMediaFre3 A2: I wouldn’t say that Thiel has a direct effect, rather influence. His ideologies & political affiliations r reflective within FB internal/external culture & policies, as it doesn’t align to the company mission of being open & connecting the world. #PeerFriday
@SocialMediaFre3 A1: Extremely powerful, so much so that Trump had a call w/Mark Zuckerberg right after he signed the executive order cracking down on social media. FB is a propaganda tool used to spread misinformation & was a major win for Trump in 2016, election. #PeerFriday
@atomicpoet @SocialMediaFre3 ...and pay through the nose for everything that pops up. In my case it was unending spammers and hackers breaking into my site until I set up the necessary safeguards, some of which cost. But yes, WordPress is what I would say as well. #peerfriday
@SocialMediaFre3 Well to be really honest there's not too much of an incentive right now. You better have some amazing content or are incredibly consistent and compelling content strategy if you'd like to actually make money. Perhaps in the future this part will have less friction. #peerfriday
