Our team leader @nankunda20 was hosted by @GivingTuesdayUg for Episode 4 of #PeriodGiving and in this episode, she shares the heart behind our annual hiking events dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to girls in rural areas of Uganda.
Every year, we hike not just for the adventure but for a purpose bigger than ourselves, to stand with girls who still struggle with menstrual stigma, lack of sanitary pads and missing school because of their periods.
Through these hikes, we raise awareness, mobilize support and remind communities that menstruation should never stop a girl from dreaming.
This conversation highlights the power of collective action and how small efforts can create lasting change in the lives of girls and young women.
It is a call for everyone to join the movement towards a world where every girl menstruates with dignity, confidence, and respect.
