Combination length of therapy for persistent BSI may depend on the infection source. Not uncommon for relapse and recurrence in IE for example.

@accpinfdprn Duration depends on source control / surgical needs and patientโs progress. Not just BSI. Wouldnโt say hard fast time for everyone, it DEPENDS!!! #PersistentSAB
