Let's talk about Fabrizio "Valentina" Petrillo. In 3 days' time, this 52-year-old male athlete and father of 2 has qualified for 2 women's Paralympic competitions (200m and 400m T12). This is unacceptable. We've seen male boxers win medals against women at the Olympic Games. So we are going to witness this masquerade once again. The complicity of the Olympic authorities and the Italian federation is an established fact. I want to tell the disabled female athletes all my support and all my despair for what they are going to have to go through. They have no choice. They have made remarkable efforts to get to this level of competition and some men in the name of the now perverted inclusion have decided that they will face a man who has won multiple medals in other women's competitions since he claimed to be a woman. He's a cheat. He's a profiteer. He is a man. Let us denounce in unison that women's sports should not be the pathway for men so cowardly as to be incapable of competing against other men. Let us denounce the authorities who invite men to exercise their absolute thirst for control and power over women's rights to preserve what they have fought for : their sports, their spaces, their autonomy, their dignity.
