Please Call Me Legacy:
Chapter 2
A MULTIBILLION DOLLAR INNOVATION
Justice Hughes ruled in 2022 that it was common cause that the PCM invention generated billions.
According to SNG Auditors and ANZ Reports, PCM generated R205 billion for Vodacom from 2001 to 2018 in SA ONLY!
PCM was exported to 18 countries in Europe, Africa and India and the latest country was Ethiopia under Vodafone Safaricom.
To kasi innovators of Katlehong, Soweto, Lenasia, Eldos, KwaMashu, Langa, Mangaung, Taung, Seshego & EMalahleni, Nkosana Makate has lit the bulb, innovate and take over the world.

#PleaseCallMe: Vodacom v Makate
18 November 2025!! It's a SHOWDOWN!!!

Vodacom must stop acting as if what Mr Makate is asking for is something foreign to its business practices. Revenue sharing is a standard practice at Vodacom for all Value-Added Services (VAS) products, and Please Call Me is 1 of them.
The lowest Revenue share Vodacom pays is 16%, going as high as 80%, and even 85% if you are the son of former CEO (Alan Knott Craig)
So the question is, since PCM is a VAS product, as confirmed in Vodacom’s own Product Development Document, why is there so much resistance to paying Mr Makate just 5%, the lowest of the lowest in their revenue share structure??
We Soldier on to the SCA!

The energy invested in marketing the R13M costs order from the 2024 hearing is truly shocking.
Firstly, this doesn’t mean Vodacom is receiving R13 million, that amount represents the total legal costs incurred by both parties.
Secondly, Vodacom has no real reason to celebrate this one day costs order, given that they’re already burdened with multiple cost orders against them spanning over 9 years. They still owe Mr Makate extensive legal fees, including the costs of expert, which amount to HUNDREDS of MILLIONS.
So, where is all this energy coming from?? celebrating a mere fraction of R13 million, when Vodacom faces a far greater financial obligation in return is mind boggling.
We are focusing on the re-hearing at the SCA that will result into BILLIONS as per 5% Revenue Share contract that exists.

November is a truly significant month in the 'CallMe' matter.
The memorandum that became the foundation of this world-first invention was submitted in November. (21 Nov 2000)
Dr. Rebecca Makate, who inspired the invention, was born in November.
Judge Spilg J delivered a landmark judgment in November 2011.
The Constitutional Court hearing took place on the 21st of November 2024.
And now, the SCA hearing is set for the 18th of November 2025.
We march on to the GRAND FINALE!

Note South Africans📍
If you think Gen. Sibiya is lying before South Africans.
You haven’t seen papers filed in courts by this man, in the ‘Please Call Me’ matter.
To date he still claims revenues generated by PCM cant be traced, but a whistleblower in 2020 revealed that is absurd, Uncontested affidavit evidence that is.
A liability total of R63,4billion was raised in PO’s in Makate’s name in 2015.
Yet the @Vodacom CEO went on and offered 47million in 2019, after that 2016 ConCourt’s landmark judgement.
Wicked!

A dark day it was in SA (31/07/2025)
When @ConCourtSA FAILED MAKATE!
Looking forward to the ordered re-hearing @SCA_ZA
We remain hopeful, You can’t be in a position of 9 judgements ordering @Vodacom to do you right, and get tired of going one more.
After all..the ‘Please Call Me’ matter is the one that got away from clutches of the so called ‘System’.
The same cameras must come flash for the last hoorah.
