Even the basic Energy cards got a view in HeartGold SoulSilver: Fire Energy shows Ho-Oh with the Bell Tower, and Lugia sits by the Whirl Islands. 🐞 Era 6 brought puzzle-piece LEGEND cards, shiny Primes and 11 Shiny Legends.

Era 5: Platinum, Feb – Nov 2009. Just four sets.
A little G, GL, E4, C or FB after the name tells you who owns that Pokémon: Team Galactic, a Gym Leader, the Elite Four, the Champion or the Battle Frontier.
Short era, doable set goal. ✨

Era 2: e-Card, Sep 2002 – May 2003.
Those tiny dots along the edge? A Nintendo e-Reader could scan them for minigames.
Three sets, 9-card packs, and Crystal Pokémon that change type to match the Energy attached.
Anyone still have an e-Reader in a drawer?
