2/ Quite rightly, Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development Jerry DeMarco puts a lots of emphasis on #PolicyIncoherence in the fossil fuel sector where the the federal government has been spending billions on things that increase GHG pollution.

US & others have sanctions against Russia & Iran — sponsors of proxy wars in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine & Gaza, where no large US force is present — while US-led #ResoluteSupport mission in Afghanistan faces proxies of unsanctioned Pakistan. #policyincoherence
