Worth rereading, almost a decade later. In 2017, Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu and I argued that Africa’s energy challenge had to be understood as an opportunity for investment, innovation and structural transformation — with African business at its centre. Today, Dangote has become a powerful champion of producing and adding value in Africa, while Tony continues to make the case for African private capital, entrepreneurship and investment over dependency. 💥 What looked ambitious then is increasingly becoming the African economic agenda now👍. We need to move even faster. https://t.co/2Nd8foTj83
