@NCPD_Kenya recently participated in the Lake Victoria Basin Commission @LVBC to champion for the integration of population and development components into all new projects and programmes. This includes a strong push for the adoption of #PopulationHealthEnvironment (PHE) strategies as a cross-cutting approach. The #PHEModel emphasizes the interdependence between population dynamics, health outcomes, and environmental sustainability. By promoting this strategy, NCPD aims to enhance access to equitable primary health care services while enabling communities to manage natural resources sustainably, conserve biodiversity, and improve livelihoods. This integrated approach is aimed to serve as a model for sustainable development across the region.
