06/25 @FireWriters35 #FireWriters35 #PositiveSaturdays #vssmystery 📸: Unknown – Prompt Photo Tired of watching my life slowly #decaying, feeling him drain the #soul from me day after day, I knew my freedom couldn’t wait any longer. My #sanity was slipping through my fingers as his grip tightened around every part of who I was. The torment, the control, the constant belittling - it all built into a pressure that made breathing feel like a luxury. So, when the chance came, I didn’t hesitate. It was a #dark_night, rain slashing sideways, thunder rolling like a warning. But I knew it was now or never. This hell he called a marriage, a marriage only he benefited from, was ending tonight, whether he knew it or not. I ran until my legs burned, until the storm soaked through my clothes and into my bones. On the corner, flickering like a lifeline, stood an old phone booth. I ducked inside, shaking, desperate, and reached out to the one #special friend who had promised to help me escape if I ever found the courage. Their voice was steady, calm, reminding me that once I stepped forward, I would be #unstoppable. I might be terrified, alone, and starting from nothing, but nothing was still better than the festering boils my life had become. For the first time in years, hope felt real. Then I heard it, his voice, sharp and grating, like nails on a chalkboard, slicing through the storm as he screamed my name. He was close. Too close. But something inside me snapped into place. I realized I would no longer allow him to #harm me, not physically, not verbally, not ever again. In that exact moment, drenched, trembling, and cornered, I made the decision that would define the rest of my life. I ran, not just from him, but toward the future he could never take from me again.

Name one positive thing that you’ve done today. For me of course sharing my pride in my community as a hobbyist nature photographer. Then came home and actually got a chance to relax… #positivesaturdays

I’ve had a lot of conversations with athletes, coaches, and parents about the situation they are facing right now. At the end of the day, pretty much everything I’ve told them comes down to this ⤵️

Been catching up on the @WhatCultureWWE podcasts and the recent Saturday podcasts have been just a welcome change of pace for the day's podcast, and I have thus nicknamed them #PositiveSaturdays with @PhilMyChambers and @Retr0J
