Speaker Gunn this morning stated that he felt the House and Senate were closing in on a workable #Pot4Pain Bill for the State of MS. One sticking point was possibly allowing individuals to grown limited number of marijuana plants for home use.

If #Pot4Pain is as successful in MS as lotto, we'll really miss some tax dollars. Legislative bill that mirrors Initiative 65 still alive as backup in case State Supreme Court rules Initiative Process outdated. @DelbertHosemann predicted Fiscal Yr.-$120M. Shaheen predicted $115M.

Congrats to all Congressional delegation on wins as well as US Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith over Espy. Also big win for #Pot4Pain Initiative 65. The logistics on implementation may be a nightmare for the Dept of Health. One way or the other, it’s going to be a major topic for months!

This morning’s segment on #Pot4Pain revealed that the future legal pot dealers wrote into the Initiative that taxpayers must loan them $2,500,000.00 from the Rainy Day Fund! Profits from pot sales cannot be used by taxpayers in General Fund. @supertalk
