#UncertaintyPrinciple for #FiscalRules: You cannot estimate #PotentialOutput and #OutputGap to measure cyclical fiscal indicators without taking into account the economic effects of fiscal policy itself. The European Fiscal Framework is doing so, which is one reason why it fails.

Wo käme man da potenzialmässig raus? Ist es sinnvoll, dass Defizit/ Leistungsbilanz bei Gap Schätzung unberücksichtigt bleibt?

Secondo le regole europee, l'Italia ha già raggiunto il suo potenziale di crescita. Quindi no a politiche espansive, altrimenti si rischia di scendere sotto la "disoccupazione di equilibrio" e di far crescere troppo i salari. Crazy rules, ma c'è del metodo in questa follia...
