I am sad to report that the Oakanagan Resort where we were at last night when we were evacuated has been destroyed. The fire on the mountain ended up coming down and even jumped the lake. Kelowna is declared a disaster with military coming in to help. My heart and prayers go out to the beautiful couple who rented to us and to all those effected by this tragedy. I pray for their safety and healing in this most incredibly difficult time. Below is when we left the resort and thank you for warning us in time. Their friends sent the warning and the picture from the other side of the lake.
