Sounds like a dream. Crowd-sourcing #PeerReview on #preprints is our goal. The short window to do it is an interesting experiment. What we would like to add to this are openly available #PREreviews, 1:1 training, and the chance to build a profile to be rewarded for contributions.

Some interesting experiments in #peerreview in Chemistry covered by @cenmag, including "Select crowd review" where 70-100 reviewers all comment on submitted manuscript and editor compiles the results, apparently it's fast and provides good feedback https://t.co/2CAAnVWU67

Reviews come out so fast. @nathanfielder beats everyone else by reviewing entire movies from just the previews #prereviews

@PatSchloss @AMathelier @ASAPbio_ @cshperspectives The idea is that #preprint authors would solicit reviews to get early feedback. At PREreview we are trying to do > than hosting resources & #PREreviews; we want to support a comm of ECRs who are excited about learning how to #peerreview & actively engage in scholarly evaluation.

@cshperspectives @hildabast @jessicapolka @PREreview_ And we’ve had very positive feedback from the preprint authors who have received the #PREreviews, so we hope this will become a great way for introverted (and extroverted) ECRs to network in their field. 2/2
