@SPRORG Low income communities are likely to have higher rates of influenza patients that need hospitalization. This is in large part because they have higher rates of chronic comorbidities. COVID-19 will probably show similar patterns. #preventionsciencechat

@SPRORG A3. I'm concerned about opioid-dependent people, particularly if they are receiving MAT, which is typically obtained via a daily trip to the clinic. Also we know opioids affect the respiratory system but no data on COVID and opioids yet I assume? #preventionsciencechat
#preventionsciencechat #covid19 A3: homeless youth and adults - no access to hand washing, most public places are closed, they don’t have hand sanitizer and no where to shelter in place. Many of them are already at risk for health issues and infection
