A dalit person was sitting on a chair in front of his house in MP's Mauganj dist. Mayank Dwivedi passed by him and got angry when he did not leave the chair.
Mayank Dwivedi's Brahmin pride was hurt that how can a Dalit sit on a chair in front of him? He started shouting, fighting and abusing victim Ashok Saket. Ashok was an Ambedkarite. He replied boldly;
"Even if my head is chopped off, I will not bow down (in front of you).., Brahmins are not given much respect. Here, everyone is equal."
This video is a week old and has gone viral now. I spoke to the victim's family. An FIR has been filed against Mayank Dwivedi under BNS and SC-ST Act. I strongly condemn this incident and demand strict action against him.
