#ProSec. Production for Security will shape govt and corporate policy and investors decisions.
Finally some meaningful amounts and not just some peanuts.
US Export-Import Bank will invest $100B to secure U.S. and allied supply chains for critical minerals, nuclear energy and liquefied natural gas, the organisation's chair John Jovanovic told in an interview published on Sunday.
Jovanovic added that the West was over-reliant on supplies of these critical materials that "are no longer fair".

🇦🇺🇪🇺 EU EYES DIRECT STAKES IN AUSTRALIAN RARE EARTH MINES TO BREAK CHINA’S GRIP
The European Union is considering taking direct equity stakes in Australian mining companies to lock in supplies of critical minerals, including rare earths, according to EU Trade and Economic Security Commissioner Maros Sefcovic.
The move marks a bold shift in EU policy, as Brussels seeks to reduce its reliance on China, which currently dominates the global rare earths supply chain and materials essential for everything from EVs and wind turbines, to military tech and smartphones.
By investing directly, the EU aims to secure stable, non-Chinese sources of strategic minerals while strengthening trade ties with resource-rich Australia.
It’s not just about economics, it’s a geopolitical hedge against supply chain blackmail in a world increasingly defined by tech wars and resource nationalism.
Europe’s green transition and defense readiness may soon depend on what it digs up… and who owns the shovel.
