The core team has no plans to move away from #FiroPOW (which is based off #ProgPOW). I think this is a misunderstanding as to the ‘inefficiencies’ of FiroPoW. The purpose of FiroPoW is to make GPUs the exclusive class of hardware that can mine on #Firo. This means no #ASICs, no #FPGAs ensuring a fair playing ground in that everyone is using the same hardware and not a select group of people having an unfair advantage over another.
