Today, I am working on the LiveView book, updating the app and first 3 ch. The @elixirphoenix team has been busy! I have an application structure that makes managing the code easier than it was with #programmingphoenix. Upgrades and errata just about killed us. #myelixirstatus

We're lucky. @josevalim and Jackie Carter (not on Twitter; editor all of the @pragprog Elixir books). I went to bed, a tech review came in for #programmingphoenix. Jackie wrapped it up, José answered all of the feedback. I'm editing what's left. Just 2 short notes. Thanks!

@josevalim and I worked through the first four chapters of #programmingPhoenix. The main changes were related to contexts. The context is like the boundary layer in #designingElixirSystemsWithOtp

I'm writing a little bit on #programmingphoenix for @josevalim @chris_mccord. Finishing up channels tests. Three more betas to go... tests, liveview, presence. We'll clean up config for deployment along the way. Testing goes to beta this coming week. #myelixirstatus

@jeg2 and I have gotten through all but 3 of the chapters for the OTP book. I think we're looking at beta within a month or so after tech review. The last #programmingphoenix happens this weekend, and @chris_mccord will add presence after that. Thanks for your patience!

For the #programmingphoenix book about @elixirphoenix for @pragprog , should we delay publish date by a month if it means including a preliminary liveview treatment? Keep in mind we're already in beta. Inquiring minds want to know.
