This is my definition of the best video games, and my goals for #ProjectBrok. Demetrios was pretty far but I have a feeling Brok can achieve all these :) #gamedev
I have now removed all placeholder music from #ProjectBrok and replaced with @Python_Blue superb tracks π
Now I'll have to find ways to ensure the soundtrack doesn't feel repetitive (which was my biggest mistake for the Demetrios soundtrack) #gamedev
So... Counting :
* Translators,
* Artists,
* Voice acting
* My own needs for a living
My budget for #ProjectBrok should be around $60,000, which is about 3 times the total budget for Demetrios π#gamedev
Well, almost all the characters in my game are cast :) I was pretty worried voice actors wouldn't accept my offer but everyone has accepted! π
I am confident #ProjectBrok will have great voice acting!
I'm still frustrated not being able to SHOW my progress on #ProjectBrok on official networks as it's still not been officially announced (and not ready yet)

This is the third time I ask my community for help, but I've received TONS of auditions for #ProjectBrok, choosing will be tough.
I need many opinions to choose the perfect voice actor for each role.

Implemented all moves for #ProjectBrok then realized players would need to be aware of their existence.
Took a few days to implement a tutorial for all the new fight moves! Now fights can start to be more strategic π
PS4 was released a few months prior to my decision to leave my day job and start being indie. PS4 will most likely be on its last legs when I'll release #ProjectBrok. How time flies...
I've just hooked my #Vita devkit again to perform a technical test on #ProjectBrok before I decide whether to switch to GameMaker Studio 2.0...

Now I'm glad I didn't release on GOG on launch day, this would have been devastating. I'm just hoping these players won't pass on #ProjectBrok as it is drastically different and certainly adresses the complaints they have.
By looking at all the remaining tasks for #ProjectBrok I'm starting to think even end of 2020 might not be enough to finish it...

There are so many features in #ProjectBrok that it will be actually easier to ask what's NOT in the game :p

Oh gosh. One of the puzzles is very similar to one I designed for #ProjectBrok. π³Now people will think I copied it. Damned!
Revenues for Demetrios on Steam last week. I notice China and Russia are getting ground... even though my game isn't translated into Chinese. They were both near 0 units when I released in 2016.
I may consider translating #ProjectBrok to Chinese if I find a translator :)
