Been working on the engine for #ProjectEvermore a lot since I last tweeted. It's an ECS based engine so there's a lot of initial work, but in the long run it'll pay off. The engine is built on top of the #raylib library using C++.

Not really very interesting, but, I wanted to share something I was working on. This is a very early stage of the engine for #ProjectEvermore. I got tilemaps mostly implemented. The lines are colliders where the player cannot walk.

#ProjectEvermore development is still ongoing. Due to unforeseen issues I had to do a complete rewrite. So no gifs for a few days, but, still going strong! New rewrite will be much cleaner and faster. π

So the game I'm working on, is once again, #ProjectEvermore. I really want to make this game, because it's kind of my dream game. I've failed SO many times in the past, but so far, it's looking good. :) Maybe tomorrow I'll post a gif.

Implemented a way for actor objects to simulate depth with tile layers by changing their z position to appear behind objects or in front. This is a seperate depth system, this one works with tile layers. #ProjectEvermore #IndieGameDev #GameMaker #RPG
Made the stat increases easier to see and fixed the positioning of the apply text on the button for #ProjectEvermore.
