Over the course of the campaign, our officers committed 2,631 hours to community safety zone education and enforcement, with 1,280 charges laid and 1,331 warnings issued.

#1DRU took part in #ProjectSafeStart from August 26th-September 6th in #Milton and #HH. During that time Officers issued 317 enforcement actions on drivers for various offenses including stop signs, unsafe vehicles, suspended drivers and cell phones.
Today, as part of #ProjectSafeStart, we are all hands-on deck, conducting high-visibility traffic enforcement in School and Community Safety Zones across Halton.
Chief Stephen Tanner was on-scene to greet parents and students and share his key back-to-school traffic reminder, here.
