Heya! I just wanted to give a quick update on #ProjectMidas . Nothing real notable has been worth documenting or posting, as devs are just working on fixing up backend bugs and cleaning things up.
Ill post some other notable things below!
#Projectmidas Q&A! We have gotten alot of feedback and questions and I consolidated most of them to one post!

#ProjectMidas is nearing its final release. Dev launcher settings have been incorporated into the main games menus and we are currently doing one final extended BETA test before launch to kink out potential menu bugs. #N64 #Goldeneye #Rareware

Different forms of glass work perfectly in #Projectmidas now! For abit it was abit off on the scaling, but in the last few days has been implemented and looking on par with the original game!

Bullets no longer clips through collision! Meaning no more BS shots through the map, or being able to shoot into the void! #Projectmidas will have this as a toggle option for those who like it for Multiplayer modes though!

Weapon sounds like the turrets no longer stop playing when other weapons/sounds are playing on #Projectmidas! This is also an issue that's plagued the game for a long time.

A major issue the original game had was Z-fighting on the textures! This has finally been fixed in #projectmidas after all these years. Decals, floor paint and more have never looked better!

#Projectmidas now has a proper menu bordering! A major request from the community has been implemented and looks really nice!

While we have been hard at work with #projectmidas we have been working on improving parts of #perfectdark kai with some of the tech we have learned for GE, and vice versa. Enjoy a quick chaos run using Raphnet raw support, and performance features!
Guards had this interesting issue where the higher the tickrate was in game the harder guards had with hitting you. This was an issue in emulators, and has been fixed in #ProjectMidas ! Guards feel as tough as their OG counterpart now!

Cameras and monitors have fully been fixed and touched up in #ProjectMidas now! There has also been a ton of fixes in the rest of the game too since the last time it was showed off.

Any @KTM_UK or @VWUKPress electrical experts out there?
I've bought a KTM X-Bow heater for #ProjectMidas.
The electrical heater element is VW part 3D0-959-984 from a Phaeton.
I can see the 2 x 100a connectors, how does the other connector work to control the element? ๐ค
I've been busy getting on with #ProjectMidas.
Lots of suppliers are amazing, people like @CBS_Online @EasyComposites & https://t.co/fazzAj7hbv, picking dispatching same day.
So, it's disappointing when someone reputable like @GoodridgeLTD can't deliver parts or customer serviceโน
BTW #ProjectMidas is my Mini based kitcar. Bought last summer, as a water filled barn find to keep me busy at home
Progress so far:
- Cleaned & de-algae'd the interior
- Stripped unwanted hardware
- Rewired with a @motogadget powerbox
- Re-commissioned the engine & it now runs!
Time today to get back on to #ProjectMidas.
I'd bought a used Stack dash & needed to sort, label & clean the loom. It came with a speed sensor (result) but no Temp/Pressure sensors โน
Out in the shed I've laid up some fibreglass sheet for filling cut outs in the body & dash.
I'm genuinely excited about $hades and #projectMidas
It def has been getting a lot of push back, but thats just par for the course when you're innovating.
I'd be more worried if it didn't have any pushback.
@HGESOL keep it rollin.
