Since lockdown end I’ve reluctantly started the process of getting hybrids & woods in my bag as long irons were hurting my hands (arthritis). This has been a bloody slog. I’ve gone up from 10.6 to 13 but today I felt like I’ve turned a corner. #projectsinglefigures is still on!!
Stopped my Sunday night #golfcheckin during lockdown as my own #projectsinglefigures came to a halt.
Let’s do it again.
How’s your game?
This week
Two rounds; 1 solid, 1 horrendous. Got the 5 wood working on the range. Putting marvellously.
Today feels like a good day in #projectsinglefigures - after 3 years with no woods or driver in the bag I feel like I’m getting there. 5 wood flight and swing is much more nearly there than driver but it’s a start… https://t.co/mQZQ9UFb3H
#projectsinglefigures is back! Getting the same carry from this 5 wood as I am from my Driver but degree of approach & flight nearly perfect with this one & still some to go with the big dog. Hopefully not long before I have them in the bag! Driver slomo follows. Exciting times!!
I just got a diary reminder that it’s golf check in time on #projectsinglefigures. 😢. Feel free to tell me how your short game is coming along!
2nd eagle of the week. This time it bounced in from 120 yards 🤯 #ProjectSingleFigures
What’s your favourite club? 8 iron for me with a nice 200yrd carry. Nice to see the ball go straight too!😂 #GolfSwing #ProjectSingleFigures #Golf

This week;

Hello overlapping grip ✔️

Lesson with @reeviepro33
Not disastrous 4somes outing with new grip & @Langfordgolf
1 Range session (irons immediately improved, driver not so much)
YOU?
*GOLF UPDATE* #projectsinglefigures
I knew a baseball grip would take me only so far & I’ve reached that point where I haven’t improved for a while so I’m listening to the experts & today @reeviepro33 started me on an interlocking grip with generally positive results. #nowpray
Sunday night golf check in... shot 103 in a medal 😬, then a respectable 90 sociably two days later. One practise session. Don’t like the cold. Need to practise more. Anyone get out there this week? #projectsinglefigures #binghamgolftweet
Hey people! Sunday night #golfcheckin - managed two rounds but only one practice session this week on my winter #projectsinglefigures. Better than nothing but must do better. You?

+5 through 18 holes on the Aldeburgh River Course today. (It’s a 64). Super happy with that, my best score this year. The 🔑? No blobs. First blob free round in over a year. Soooo frustrating!! #golf #projectsinglefigures
All ready for three days of @AMurrayGolf magic @montereiresort. I’m gonna get to single figures if it kills me! #projectsinglefigures #golf #workingonit #portugal #algarvegolf… https://t.co/ESui8MAMPe
Getting nearer and nearer that magical number - finally shot below my handicap today albeit on a social round! Here’s my @GAMEGOLF from @FoxhillsSurrey today. I WILL break 80 dammit! #projectsinglefigures https://t.co/XTdoCBRYT2
The 4 iron made the cut at the expense of my 5 hybrid. Eek!! 😬😬
Wish me luck! ⛳️🏌🏼♀️#firstcompoftheyear #wintergolf #projectsinglefigures
Golf in the sun today!! (Ended up in freezing cold rain so go figure 🤷🏼♀️). Lovely while it lasted!! #sunfrown #wintergolf @StewartGolf #Projectsinglefigures

Took my absolutely AMAZING mullet to @worplesdongolf today with @ClevelandGolfEu to film a series of tuition hits with @AMurrayGolf & @ChloeAllyn. We dressed like a pack of refreshers on purpose, but did learn stuff too! #getcloser #projectsinglefigures
