It also easily includes messages written from another script called by your main script. Also great for catching messages from background runspaces or logging to eventlog/splunk/log analytics

Shipped the latest version of #psframework today, with several bugfixes around the logfile provider and a new configuration option to prevent multiline messages in custom hosts such as the powershell universal admin console or some pipeline consoles.

In the meantime, PowerShell 7+ suports jsonc, Windows PowerShell 5.1 does not.
One of the main reasons I've been using psd1 files is the comments capability.
Oh, and if you are good ingesting either format, #psframework's "Import-PSFPowerShellDataFile" can handle both 😎
