#PumpJet - Twitter Hashtag

A #pumpjet, #hydrojet, or #waterjet is a marine system that produces a jet of water for propulsion. The mechanical arrangement may be a ducted propeller (axial-flow pump), a centrifugal pump, or a mixed flow pump which is a combination of both centrifugal and axial designs.

Very interesting read here re the #pumpjet-issue on #Shortfin #Barracuda for #RAN. Mentioned are pts for and against it. Pumpjet was in past tested and abandoned on Soviet Kilo #SSK but the hull + pumpjet aspect remains valid point.
