Despite oldheads (+30yo) growing up in a time when “punk” meant hating everyone and pissing off / offending everyone as much as possible, it’s important to realize some time near the Bush era punk was purposely molded into an all-inclusive safe space for gay communist baby Reddit consoomers, funded by George Soros (and other similar wealthy forces of ideology) to parrot the opinions of every corporation and Legacy News channel.

Remember when punks respected nothing? Including themselves? It was the point.
Yes, it was off-putting and why I disassociated with the label, but at least the music was rad and genuine.
