As for my book, apart for some #putcalendars got a couple short vol trades that are setup to flip to long volatility by mid September series. These are going to need some dynamic delta adjustments.
Short vol candidates remain in single stock Sep series.

Market is highly volatile today & exited all of them except Nifty #putcalendars. Mostly HDFC Balanced fund will be listed in NSE collateral list on or before Aug 1. I do not want to carry any positions for this expiry as we have RBI policy head. Leaving to Chennai from Mumbai
Sometimes the market gives you your returns the instant you enter your trade.
Although this was a hedged position and #putcalendars are slow moving, the $BankNifty #PutCalendars ended up with a spiking profit within 5 mins of entering.
Ofcourse, this was exited immediately.
With this $INDIAVIX rise, all #PutCalendars and #Ratio put calendars doing swimmingly.

My view is that the IV should rise across the calendar months.
Either ways, my #putcalendars are done in a slight off ratio with a positive delta bent. I also manage & profit book these aggressively, so will not wait for event day.
@Sarcasmicity @ajanardhanan @itjegan Sorry, I don't do long straddles. I prefer #putcalendars for long vega plays that give me some short theta exposure.
The beauty in #OptionsTrading is that you have various methods to work out your view.

We need to see some 2-way action on daily basis to form some strategies.
