There are issues with getQuote() again https://t.co/mxBighdmX0 It's fixed on GitHub, but won't be on CRAN for a couple weeks due to CRAN's summer break. Install the patched version in the meantime: remotes::install_github("joshuaulrich/quantmod") #quantmod #rstats

getSymbols() for Yahoo uses the CSV API, but it appears rate limited... The JSON API seems to work, so I made branch that uses it: https://t.co/Zh1fB7uK8f I'm considering making the JSON API the default. I'd appreciate testing and feedback! #rstats #quantmod #rfinance
