This is pouring petrol on a fire and handing out matches.
The vast majority of White South Africans today had NOTHING to do with apartheid. Most were children or not even born when it ended. The same goes for the majority of young Black South Africans.
We are generations removed from those old policies, yet Cyril is actively riling up racial hatred between people who never lived under apartheid.
His words are DANGEROUS because they give moral permission for violence. They tell angry mobs that attacking White farmers, torturing elderly White pensioners, raping White women, and murdering White families is somehow "justified." This is exactly the rhetoric that fuels farm attacks and murders, as well as the brutal killings we see every week. It keeps the cycle of hate alive, scares off investment, drives skilled White people out of the country, and destroys any hope of a united South Africa.
This kind of race-baiting from a president will only lead to more blood on the ground.

South Africa on high alert for national shutdown next week
South Africa will deploy more police this week to deter possible violence before a June 30 deadline set by protest groups for foreigners to leave the country.
“There has been mobilisation around this issue over a period of time, and we expect it to continue after June 30, so we have plans in place,” Firoz Cachalia, the acting police minister, said in an interview with state-owned broadcaster SAfm on Monday.
