5/ This is because #Refv2's DLAMM uses a discretized constant sum formula (x+y=k) instead of a constant product formula (x*y=k) that CLAMMs like Uniswap use, thereby discretizing the liquidity in price ranges across the curve.
3/ DiscretizedLiquidity, or DLAMM
On #RefV2, LPs can provide liquidity to a desired price range like on Uni v3 (hence, "concentrated" liquidity). LPs can accrue way more fees than before (4000x on Uni v3 ๐คฏ) and traders can enjoy deeper liquidity.
2/ The collapse of FTX taught us that we need DEXs with trading experience comparable to CEXs.
Ref's response is to make DEXs stronger and sexier. In partnership with @izumifinance and @arctic_trade, #RefV2 introduces the discretized liquidity AMM (DLAMM) with limit orders.
