WONHO GLOBAL FANBASE strongly condemns the toxic and increasingly intrusive behavior that Wonho is being subjected to through SNS and messaging apps such as Bubble.
WENEEs, his fans, have seen the same issues repeated over and over again: attempts to control is work and his private life, constantly sending negative comments and demands directed at him.
This has gone far beyond normal fan behavior.
We are openly calling on Highline Entertainment & Starship Entertainment to act: investigate the accounts involved, identify the people behind repeated harassment and boundary violations, with particular attention to Bubble users who take advantage of the fact that their comments are only visible to the artist, and take appropriate measures, including restricting or blacklisting those accounts owners and pursuing legal action when necessary.
Wonho should not have to keep dealing with this behavior, which has been happening for years now. His privacy and physical and mental well-being must be a priority and must be protected. We ask Highline & Starship to take this matter seriously and take action now.
Also, we are thankful to all WENEEs who continue to report these comments and accounts and support Wonho in maintaining a healthy and respectful environment between the artist and his fandom.

This is such good advice! During concerts ppl can get caught up in the moment and perhaps do things they normally wouldn’t do. Just always let #RespectWonho be your guide and don’t scream obscenities or demand that he take his shirt off, or any number of things I’ve seen happen.🫶🏻🥹

Many people are purposely twisting things and bringing up made-up arguments against what I said even though there’s absolutely no reason for that. WENEE is a fandom that has always demanded respect for Wonho, because in 2019 he was betrayed by those he loved the most: his former fandom. And for that exact reason, like I said, we will never tolerate any kind of disrespect towards him whether it’s about the importance of his career as a former member of the group, or about his solo career, which many people still don’t take seriously and don’t support the way they claimed to when he was still in the group.
Being OT7 and supporting his solo career means recognizing how important he was and still is, while also valuing his entire journey as the incredible artist he has become. Don’t use the fact that we ask for respect for his solo career as an excuse to say we’re trying to disconnect him from his past with Monsta X because why would we want that, when it’s such an important part of the artist he is today? Without the group, we wouldn’t have the amazing soloist we have now.
Your arguments honestly sound like a poor excuse to openly admit you don’t support his solo career and don’t see him as a solo artist just as a former member, of a former group, an “ex” and nothing more. As if the past five years of his solo career mean nothing. We will never tolerate any kind of disrespect towards him or his career and that includes respecting every part of his journey as an artist.

Some might think I’m too sensitive about hating the barking and yelling “Take it off” at WH’s fan meetings. But considering that he was (and often still is) defamed, trivialized, cyber-bullied and ultra-sexualized on social media, I don’t think it’s too much to ask for his fans (especially his fans!) to be extremely respectful of him and treat him as the serious artist he is at his own concerts. Think, people. Show tons of love and appreciation, but leave the harassing behavior at home. #RespectWonho
