Doing some simple calculations, here's a breakdown of some of Meghan Markle's fashion while in Canada while attempting, and failing, to promote the Invictus Games. New Clothing Costs: roughly $35,000 Outfits: 8 Coats/Jackets Worn: 7 Most Expensive New Item: $3000+ Hermes Bomber Jacket Most Expensive New Jewelry: Necklace $15,600 Only 8 items of Canadian brands, though 4 pieces were jewelry, with American brands making up 14 of the total items worn. Not Seen: One piece of Invictus Games merchandise Everyone interested in supporting the Invictus Games should be asking how Meghan wearing $35,000 of new clothing, and not a single piece of Invictus merchandise, is supposed to promote the Invictus Games? What role does she have within the Games, except to wear expensive designer clothing and jewelry and smile? She was utterly unnecessary addition to this promotional tour, and hopefully the Invictus Games did not have to pay for a penny of her ridiculous wardrobe.
