#NICE guidelines are just that. Guidelines. The NHS website still has #DopamineAgonists as 1st line treatment. So a complete contradiction. #RLSUK will now campaign for official #NICE guidance to incorporate the guidelines & include opioids for refractory RLS.

@rcgp A patient on the #RLSUK help forum has been prescribed 100mg for a month's trial & told it's 'off licence'. It won't help severe RLS at that dose at all. The GP has also refused blood tests as required in NHS & NICE guidelines. This daily ignorance should not be happening.
