In the 11th hour, @MesozoicMuse and I stumbled across a great find - a Triceratops occipital condyle (the knob that attaches the skull to the spine) sticking out of the rock! Right as we were starting to despair on finding things our last day ๐

Unbelievable. In the last hour of the last day, I found a dinosaur. An occipital condyle was exposed on the hill. @ashinonyx and I checked it out and found the frill eroding out. Next year weโll be back for this trike and find whatโs in there! #trikeforce #romhellcreek
We've been seeing some cool wildlife in the #ROMHellCreek - we've seen some foxes, coyotes, horned lizards, rattlesnakes, and a skink! This particular horned lizard was a little grumpy when I moved him out of the way.
I actually found a thing today at #ROMHellCreek! @mesozoicmuse and I picked up a dorsal vertebra from a duck-billed dinosaur - you can see the jacket in my hand!

What a crazy day in #ROMHellCreek! We we rediscovered the site of the tiniest trike, and T.rex had a chomp of this eroded trike bone. We also prospected the most treacherous land so far, definitely going to sleep well tonight! Also, a bit of Hadrosaur maxilla and theropod tarsal.

Today, #ROMHellCreek paid a visit to the K-T boundary, the geological marker between the Cretaceous and the Tertiary, meaning the end of the dinosaur extinction (minus birds).
