I achieved almost all my objectives for the #RPTStateConvention. @TexasGOP My goal was a grassroots-controlled party that is united to focus on implementing policy on the most important issues facing Texans and ready to go into the general election prepared for victory. Both of the resolutions I authored made it to the delegates, 7) Election Integrity Enforcement, calling for a special session to get state level enforcement of election law for 2024 in a June special session; and 5) Border Invasion, calling for Texas to ignore the feds when they tell Texas to delay or stand-down on securing the border. The main priorities I pushed made into the top 15, End Federal Overreach, Financial Freedom, and a call within Secure Texas Elections for state-level election law enforcement. I did not get the exact details I wanted on any, but did get the gist. I also did a little for Secure the Electric Grid. Eagerly waiting on what makes it to the top 8 priorities. For probably the first time in my life, every candidate for party leadership at the convention that I supported and voted for won: @abrahamgeorge @DrindaRandall @DebbieCanWeTalk @indous (Sakki Joseph, new SD 18 SREC) @CherylCounty (Cheryl Thompson Draper SD 18 SREC) I was elected from the wonderful SD 18 as State Nominations representative as part of the process in picking Chair and V Chair. Also got the opportunity to chair the CD 10 Caucus where we had harmonious, productive, fun picking our elector, delegates to National, and RNC reps. Finally, got to reconnect with so many friends and people all over the state that I have worked with for liberty over the years and make new friends that I hope to work with. What a wonderful week for Texas!

Thank you, Chairman @MattRinaldiTX, for your years of selfless service to the @TexasGOP! When Matt took the helm of the RPT, we were in financial shambles. Today, the party is stronger financially and more united than ever! Under his leadership, our RPT Platform and Legislative Priorities proved to be winners with the voters—as we saw on March 5th! AND, we will soon have CLOSED PRIMARIES in Texas. Godspeed my friend, liberty forever!

The very last item of the long 2024 RPT Platform and Resolutions list that the #RPTStateConvention delegates will be voting on today is Resolution 7. It is designed to insure that election cheaters in the big counties of Texas know that they will be prosecuted in Texas in 2024. If passed, it is designed to pass a bill by @SenBryanHughes in a June special session that will create a State Prosecutor Office under the Texas Supreme Court (See 88th SB 1927 or HB 4026 by @RepSchofield ). It reads: RESOLVED that the Republican Party of Texas calls upon Governor Abbott to call a special session in June, 2024 to increase election integrity. Specifically, the call should include the following: ELECTION INTEGRITY ENFORCEMENT: Legislation to implement independent state level prosecution of election integrity, abortion, human smuggling, sedition, and riot in response to and in compliance with the CCA State v Stephens ENSURING THAT ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE NOT VOTING IN TEXAS: Legislation to require proof of citizenship for new voter registration and a thorough review of existing voter rolls to identify and remove illegal aliens, other non-citizens, those with unauthorized non-residential addresses, and long-time inactive from the voter rolls. I don't think @GregAbbott_TX or @DanPatrick want to look @realDonaldTrump or @SenTedCruz in the eye and tell them that they had a chance to enforce election law during the 2024 general election in the big counties of Texas and failed to do so.
