Top Tweets for #RTXPRO4000
Hope you are all well & safe.
I have re-fitted my #NVIDIA #RTXA4000 to this PC, to act as display card and #LLM #GPU, while the #RTXPRO4000 #Blackwell is dedicated to #GenerativeAI using #ComfyUI, the role previously assigned to an absolute workhorse #MSI #RTX3090.
Just ran the good old #Unigine Heaven Benchmark on the #NVIDIA #RTXPRO4000 #Blackwell.
It sat there pegged at 3,090MHz, the highest clock speed GPU I have owned.
Temp' of ~77C.
Great little professional card, with no droop in the PCIe slot, and just the single, neat PSU cable.
One of the important things I wanted to do this session was to see if I could work out why #oobabooga Text-Generation-WebUI took up so much VRAM when running it with the #NVIDIA #RTXPRO4000 #Blackwell when I tested it on Friday.
Just discovered it was using 65K context, not 32K.
I got it figured out while I temporarily had the new #RTXPRO4000 #Blackwell #GPU on the #Ubuntu system, so I could run some benchmarks against the unlocked 64GB #CMP170HX #GPU.
I am now back on my main PC, with the new #GPU refitted, and I have the case a little more sealed up.
With the #NVIDIA #RTXPRO4000 #Blackwell #GPU, the #Blender 'Junk Shop' scene renders in 6.24s, using the Optix denoiser.
This is in version 3.1,2. It's what I had on this PC.
I have no idea if any other settings are important/correct.
I hate this software. I never use it.
Well, the #NVIDIA #RTXPRO4000 #Blackwell has given me the highest scores I've ever seen in various 3DMark tests, so the graphics side of things is just fine.
But I'm currently underwhelmed on the #AI side of things, unfortunately.
Still lots of testing to do, though.
I will say one thing for the #RTXPRO4000 Blackwell... It's quiet and it is keeping way better temperature than the RTX A4000.
It's more like 62C rather than 84C at serious load.
Also, very low idle power.
And the power connector is a really nice, snug fit.
Just remember, kids, if you want an '#RTX5080Super' w/24GB VRAM, you can buy one right now.
Except it's called the #RTXPRO4000 Blackwell Workstation Edition.
A 145W TDP, single slot card, which lists at USD$3,200 from #NVIDIA, or USD$2,939.99 from #PNY.
