We were planning to drive all the way to #SantaBarbara. It was getting late. On the way we found a RV "park" along the coast. Would have been awesome but no vacancies. π Anyway we made it and "our" spot was still available! π₯³ #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
On our way north we passed pretty much every #beach including #NewPort, #Huntington, #Long, #Venice, and #Malibu. While looking for impressive buildings in #ThousandOaks we found one in bright #Christmas decoration! Awesome! #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
Drove to #NewPortBeach. The first time since we moved there was a beach coming somewhat close to @stpeter_ording. At least a beach wider than 300ft. π After #breakfast I assembled my @revkites. Unfortunately lines were tangled. Not sure how that happened. π€·ββοΈ #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
On the way to the #pacific we passed the worlds #biggest dinosaurs @CABAZONDINOSAUR. The drive was pretty exhausting. Gusty winds paired with low sun. Finding a spot for the night wasn't easy along the #PCH but found one and enjoyed our second #Thanksgiving! π #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
We spent the day in #PalmsSprings! We love it! We are definitely going to come back. I was wearing shorts today ... almost Dec! βοΈ Walked up #PalmCanyon, passed #ElvisHoneymoonHideaway, #Robolights, the #FrankSinatraEstate, and the first #ChristmasTree. #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
#Thanksgiving breakfast with freshly pressed #grapefruit juice #RV style, #eggs, and @Starbucks. The kids and I went shopping while mommy was still (more or less) asleep. π Look at this #view! π₯° #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
After leaving the park we headed to the #ThousandPalmsOasis in the #CoachellaValleyPreserve. It was definitely worth a stop! The Empire Polo Club not so much. π Found a great spot of unlimited parking for the night in #PalmsSprings! π #RVtrip11 #RVingUS
The hike to #RyanRanch was the first we were almost able to make without face masks. To be honest it was already getting dark which might explain why. π Parked there for a while playing #Cartan and watching the starts. π₯°#RVTrip11 #RVingUS
Quick hike through #HiddenValley! Great spot and @JoshuaTreeNPS is obviously the #boulder and #ropeclimbing paradise. We have to go back to the climbing #gym as soon as "this" is over. I feel like the older one is a natural. π #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
The first #hike of the day was #RyanMountain #trail. We loved it! Only downside were the number of (unfriendly) people. π€·ββοΈ The girls made it all the way up to the mountain top. We are really proud of them. They both do such a great job hiking! #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
First stop today #SkullRock. Luckily we got the last parking spot. Pretty impressive rock formation. I feel like it is way more impressive not being too close. #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
The second #hike of the day in @JoshuaTreeNPS was #BakerDam! Super easy hike with lots to see and explore. The girls loved it and we too! π #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
Today we drove in the @JoshuaTreeNPS looking for a campground w/o success. Anyway we hiked the #FortyninePalmsOasisTrail with a family we are friends with. Pretty much a coincidence. Beautiful nature! π₯° #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
After celebrating #Thanksgiving a few days earlier we started our road trip on Sunday. We made it all the way to @JoshuaTreeNPS! We found a RV park in the city close to the gate. Only a hand full RVs compared to the fully occupied campgrounds in the park. π€·ββοΈ #RVTrip11 #RVingUS
