I got out of the habit of daily #hayomyom posts but today is my Jewish birthday and, a long time ago, my grandfather told me that since today's Hayom Yom is about Ayin Beis, that means that I need to learn Ayin Beis

@Eli_Rubin what I love most about Pnimiyus Atik is how its transcendent transcendance as you call it makes it all the more relevant, applicable, immanent - more "here" than Arich etc - in the #Rebbe's Chassidus (perhaps going back to #Rashab is Ayin-Bais - which I haven't (yet) learned).
I love this country and I hope God takes control, because already, people are losing control. Ẹyẹ òkè bí ẹyẹ mọ.

Indeed, @reuvenleigh was right about finding treasures in newly publicized Chabad Library manuscripts. If reading it right, this Maamar "Lmaan Daas" 5680 #Rashab's last earthly Simchas Torah, #Rebbe notes in cover is from wife's great-grandfather R Shmuel Galperin (of Pleshnitz).

@safier @hahistorion also quite a bit of history and large families today from Georgian Jews who studied in Lubavitch or in Lubavitch outposts in Georgia. "Gruzia" was one of early forerunners of the Shlichus concept today, going back to Rebbe #Rashab times.
This year #19Kislev #YudTesKislev falls in Parsha #Vayeishev. In 1953 #Rebbe explains (from #Rashab in 1906 Wurzburg): #AlterRebbe endeavored to bring Tohu Lights of early Chassidus into more settled (= Vayeishev) Tikkun Vessels via Chabad Chassidus. We're continuing that effort!
