God #challenges the reasoning of men, only the anointing brings the reasoning with grace into perfection.

Next week, I'd like to take a look at what Jesus said about provision and more. Perhaps we'd find some answers there.

There were instances outside the Garden of Eden where God provided supernaturally. Here are some examples:
God provided manna in Exo 16:14–15.
God provided water after Moses struck the rock in Num 20:11.
Elijah was fed by ravens in 1 Kings 17:2–6.

No spoon-feeding, but dominion There was something for Adam to do with the provision of God—a picture of what is available to us today and how we should deal with it.

..And the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
God gave Adam dominion, as found in Genesis 1:26-29; i.e., everything Adam needed, which the Lord had provided, was in his care.

....it is clear that God wanted to provide for man what he needs to fulfill his vision. Smart!
By the way, God didn't say there won't be work in Eden. Eden doesn't represent a lack of work.

By day seven, God had finished his work of creation and rested, making the seventh day a special holy day.
Just like it is expected for every organization to provide all the resources needed for their staff to be productive,

The fifth day, creatures that live in the sea and creatures that fly were created.
The sixth day, animals that live on the land, and finally humans, made in the image of God, were created.

In the beginning, God started creation.
The first day, light was created.
The second day, the sky was created.
The third day, dry land, seas, plants, and trees were created.
The fourth day, the sun, moon, and stars were created.

First, let's go to the beginning: In Genesis, God made all the things that man needed before he made him. It is called pro-vision. i.e., something that is before the vision.
This account goes on to describe the seven days of creation:

Does God provide for people at all? If he does, is it based on how he pleases or based on some underlying principle? Is supernatural provision available in the new covenant?

And I share strong sentiments with that. The Bible needs to prove this claim to us by precept and by example otherwise, we're just giving ourselves "hope" that doesn't result in any desired outcomes

Verse 19 says, "But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Wow! That's a serious claim. Carl Sagan says extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Philippians 4:6–19 tells us to be careful for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
