It's 2023. #OCaml is gaining popularity, but the syntax is kinda meh and tooling is a bit confusing. What is the state of #ReasonML? Is starting a (non-frontend) project in ReasonML as opposed to ReScript a good idea? Do I need esy or is opam+dune just fine?

@HadrienMP Au final les devs remédient à cela en utilisant un compilateur vers le JS avec #Elm ou #Dart ou #ReasonML, ou #TypeScript pour se rapprocher des garanties des languages plus fortement typés.

I see the JavaScript community eventually writing the build tools in rust to make it fast . But #ReasonML supports super fast build time via @rescriptlang long ago.

It’s 2022 and it almost hurts me to see JavaScript is still the only major way to build web apps. Then their is this silly duct tape called TypeScript over it. While vastly superior technology like #ReasonML remains almost like a subculture.
