Rome Odunze 2025 #ReceptionPerception Profile π₯
Some highlights:
- 76.1% success rate vs. man coverage
- 78% success rate vs. zone
- 80.6% success rate vs. press (93rd percentile)
Already a very talented player, Odunze can easily resume the breakout pace he showed early last season if healthy, and even take another step if he cleans up a few areas of his game. Notes in his RP data on why his role in Ben Johnson's offense is different from what you think, splits before/after the injury, and much more.

5 Rookies that #ReceptionPerception charting data likes better than where theyβre currently going in drafts π

AJ Brown 2025 #ReceptionPerception Profile Is up π
Some highlights:
- 69.2% success rate vs. man coverage
- 66% success rate vs. press
There's no getting around the fact that the RP results for one of my favorite WRs of this era dipped from previous career standards, with the biggest dropoff coming on downfield routes.
I measured what that means for Brown, what role he might be able to thrive in going forward, how that relates to other Patriots WRs, and tried to navigate the dangerous waters of receiver aging in his full profile:

Odell Beckham Jr. still owns two of the four best success rate vs. man coverage seasons and the No. 1 success rate vs. press season I've charted for #ReceptionPerception. Those were many years ago, and he hasn't been that guy in forever, but it's very obvious that injuries ruined what should have been a legendary career.
I'll always root for a good outcome for him and hope he finds the ending to his career that he's looking for back with the Giants.
Reunion! The Giants are signing three-time Pro Bowl WR Odell Beckham Jr., sources tell NFL Network.
Twelve years after his electric rookie season, and seven years after being trade, Beckham is back in New York at age 33, with a chance to finish what, and where, he started.

Year 3 WR week has officially begun for #ReceptionPerception with a handful of super fascinating players π
Subscribers will now find RP route charts, data and my evaluations on the following 5 incoming Year 3 WRs, with more to come this week:
Rome Odunze
Brian Thomas Jr.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Ladd McConkey
Xavier Worthy
Injuries and correctable flaws haunted this entire class but I remain bullish on many of what these players have shown on film and can be in the league. As I mentioned, expect more Year 3 WRs added to the site by the end of this week.
Check it all out at the links below π

Year 3 WR week begins on the #ReceptionPerception site tomorrow π₯
On Monday morning, subscribers will find the following five players (at least) on the site:
Rome Odunze
Brian Thomas Jr.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Ladd McConkey
Xavier Worthy
Some more guys will be going up throughout the week. I'm looking at Malik Nabers, Ricky Pearsall, Jalen Coker, Ryan Flournoy, Jalen McMillan and AD Mitchell to hopefully have up by Friday before I leave for a vacation.
Also, there will be an AJ Brown profile mixed in at some point and a dynasty rankings update.
It's a great time to be a member at RP and you can sign up at the link below π
Something that keeps coming up in my notes as I put together the #ReceptionPerception profiles for the upcoming Year 3 WRs is just how unlucky that group was with injuries last year. I even forgot that Marv had the appendicitis stuck between the concussion and the heel/foot issues.
I remain overall really bullish on the outlook for a lot of these WRs from the 2024 draft class.

Marvin Harrison Jr. says he lost about 10 pounds from his appendicitis, which was most of the weight he gained in the offseason @PHNX_Cardinals
Tetairoa McMillan Rookie Year #ReceptionPerception Profile π₯
Some highlights:
- 72.3% success rate vs. man coverage
- 72.9% success rate vs. press
McMillan showed himself to be a strong separator in the intermediate area, particularly on breaking routes like the digs, where he had an astronomical success rate on his favorite route (per him). He was capable of handling a ton of X-receiver reps. Beyond varied deployment, Year 2 will be mostly about tightening up a few details as he hopes to ascend up the tiers of NFL receivers.

After many hours in the lab, running tests, etc., the #ReceptionPerception research and development team has uncovered that you are actually allowed to like two receivers from one team.
Luther Burden's top comp in the #ReceptionPerception Player Comparison Tool is Robert Woods' 2020 season.
Hardcore Burden Bros may not think this is good enough but if he is used as a Z receiver in a movement role like Woods was and approaches the former Rams wideout's level of craft with his juice, that's an awesome outcome.
I like it.

Luther Burden 2025 #ReceptionPerception Profile!
Some highlights:
- 71.1% success rate vs. man coverage
- 80.4% success rate vs. zone
- Strong success rates and usage in the intermediate area
- High-end results as a tackle-breaker in space
Burdenβs rookie year film showed promise and real improvements from areas where he needed to get better as a prospect. He did it while not being a slot-first player, as well. Still some details to iron out on the boundary but he is an obviously ascending young WR with tons of strengths.

Something the replies to this graphic have taught me is that people seem to have completely forgotten that Tank Dell has never been a slot receiver for the Texans. When I charted him for #ReceptionPerception as a rookie, he was awesome from the perimeter on big out-breaking routes against man coverage. That was his role and when he came back in 2024, Diggs was the slot receiver, not him.
Now, I have no idea if Dell will even be a big factor or certainly if he can return to his 2023 form. I'm rooting for it because he's awesome. But if he does, my guess is that it will force a big rotation between Higgins, Dell and Noel behind Nico Collins and then none of those three end up clear 60% of the routes but they all get work. Not to mention this team may still play Xavier Hutchinson more than most suspect, as they did last year.
The Texans have a clear WR1 and could end with a WR2 by pseudo-committee.

Jaylin Noel has a clear runway to be more involved in the Texans offense and showed promise in his limited opportunities as a rookie. π

New Jordyn Tyson to the Saints prospect landing spot breakdown is up on my channel π₯
Tyson had a mixed profile in #ReceptionPerception, with clear strengths and areas for improvement. However, he's a post-draft riser for me, landing in New Orleans in Kellen Moore's scheme.
Watch below to find out why π

Emeka Egbuka 2025 #ReceptionPerception Profile π
Some highlights:
- 71.4% success rate vs. man coverage
- 79.3% success rate vs. zone
- 68.4% success rate vs. press
How do we square Egbuka's rookie season deployment with a prospect profile that looked quite different? Also, notes and theories on why Egbuka dropped off in the second half of the season, and if that even matters in 2026 and beyond.
